Morning Stretch

I'm not sure exactly what he's selling, but whatever it is I'm buying...

What's that you say? He's just a model posing for one of New York's most famous photographers? Dammit sad. And here I thought Jockey was getting ready to package beefiness for thanksgiving... Ah well, guess I'll just settle on turkey this time around (and save the rest for leftovers cool)...

Before The Fame

Don't get me wrong or anything... I'm loving the random poker faces, relentlessly tenacious paparazzi, and the romances that end... well, just plain bad. And I'm kinda, sorta sure trading down my video phone for a standard telephone might be a step up in the right direction at this point mrgreen...

But what about a little more of the captivating raw talent hidden behind all those electric kisses cool? I love the over-the-top post-modern 21st century music/fashion icon currently tearing up the charts... but prior to simply going Gaga for the fame, an unknown artist by the name of Stefani Germanotta was simply wowing audiences with raw melodic talent.
This vintage Gaga video's been making waves for a week or so now since being posted on youtube. I think it's an absolutely amazing performance and yet sadly a testament to what the current dominance of pop music might be pushing aside. Kinda of a sad irony that had the music industry given her a shot a couple years earlier this raw talent might've been catering to a much smaller niche market than what she currently commands sad...

British Heat Overdose

I'm not sure if you guys are aware of this, but I think someone, somewhere out there might have devised a plot to take out yours truly neutral...
Not that I'm trying to alarm anyone, and not that I want to come off as paranoid in the sight of... err, hm confused... Oh, yeah that's right. No, I'm absolutely positive I'm not being paranoid at the sight of great legs, leading to descending undies, leading to... perfectly - irresistible - baby - blues neutral...

At least I hope I'm not being paranoid, but I could almost swear there's a certain photographer out there (I won't name names)... Who's had it out for me for a while now, laying hotness landmines in my path as I innocently check through my ever accumulating e-mail inbox.
Again, I won't name names *cough* British ultra-sexy photographer Dylan Rosser *cough*, but I managed to quickly power-off the laptop this morning and switch off the wi-fi connection before the processor had a chance to overheat on account of a certain British Mathematics major/somestimes soccer player-turned-latest Rosser model by the name of Peter H...
Hm, ok, I think I'll just stop here. You guys can check out more of Peter over at Dylan's website. In the meanwhile, I think I'll just go fetch myself an ice-cold glass of water... with extra ice... before taking a cold shower confused... (*proceeds to frantically attempt to power off laptop again*)...

Lone-star Beauty

The eyes invited me first, and a gorgeous face coaxed me to drop what I'm doing and pay attention... is perhaps how I'd best describe my initial reaction to JBM photographer friend Tracy Nanthavongsa's latest lone-star beauty mrgreen.
By all accounts an ultra-hottie for sure, Tracy's latest model Aaron B. just has something about him (I can't put my finger on it)... I'm thinking 'guy next door' meets 'super cute buddy who you secretly have a crush on but would never tell for fear of ruining a close friendship' kind of hot... If that even makes any sense...confused... Ok, I think I'm projecting again neutral...
Tracy was kind enough to provide somewhat of a behind-the-scenes look for his shoot with Aaron earlier this month... Notwithstanding a pretty lengthy personal interview for blogmate Charmant's blog (which I highly recommend checking out).
Incidentally Aaron was also featured on the November cover of Arizona gay sports magazine Compete, which technically makes that Tracy's first cover shoot. Congratulations Tracy. You can check out compete's feature of Aaron here.
'Guy next door who you find super cute, yet wouldn't tell him so for fear of ruining a friendship'... Hm... an interesting concept biggrin. And yet here I am starting to feel hungry again... wonder if I know anyone who's up for lunch cool.

Scenic Romance

I've always been a sucker for a good romance, granted that should come as no surprise at this point. And yes, I've come across my fair share of romantic dramas lately featuring phenomenal love stories both great and small... But I've never come across a romantic movie featuring such a majestic/scenic setting mrgreen...

Ok, fine maybe it's been about four years since I've come across such a beautiful set romantic drama (Jake's moved on and Heath's tragically passed on since then)... But I think I know potential when I see it.
...And I see much potential in this latest romantic film by director David Lewis (of Rock Haven fame). The movie itself is called Redwoods and it's set in a small town up in northern California. Both these clips are basically trailers seeing as the DVD itself isn't set for release until early December, but from some of the reviews I've been reading filtering through the net, the film is easily looking like one of my Netflix must-sees.
Redwoods releases on Amazon and TLA December 8th, but for now you can check out a couple more scenes on TLA's youtube page. Also I should mention a special thanks to Rob from WayoutWest for introducing this film over on his video blog.

Scottish Power in Motion

I've been away for what seems like an eternity now, so bear with me a little while as I self-indulge a bit mrgreen... And dedicate a post to my favorite part of the male body...

My favorite awesome, sturdy, sometimes muscle-y, yet often overlooked part of the male body. Of course I have to be referring to none other than gorgeous legs.. The one part of the male body my eyes seem to constantly gravitate towards, prior to reaching the face.
As attractive to look at when they're in peak physical shape as they are somewhat off-putting when routinely ignored by guys working out in a gym. I realize I might perhaps be a minority in this sentiment, but to me at least they're like works of art while in motion... (hence explaining my inherent affinity to soccer and rugby mrgreen)...

And speaking of guys in peak physical shape when it comes to legs (and pretty much everything else), you might perhaps recall this particular athlete from a couple months back on an East Scotland feature. Following my last post, I learned his name is Stewart mrgreen... And yep, I'm still convinced he's one of the hottest athletes I've ever laid eyes on...

I find myself regretting soccer's lack in popularity here in the states, but thankfully we have guys like prolific flickr photographer Ian capturing perfection that might otherwise be overlooked. You can check out more on Stewart and other East Scotland soccer hotties with awesome legs over on Ian's photography set.

Forever Rusty

Honestly if I'm ever so lucky as to find myself pushing 40 and looking half as good as this model here, I'll know that I've lived a good life cool.

Granted typically modeling tends to trend towards the younger age curve more often than not, so when you find yourself being twice the age of your average model starting out (let's say for arguments sake 18 in this case cool), and looking as fantastic as Alabama native Rusty Joiner here, then you've really got something special. Rusty's been hot for pretty much my entire life, so yeah, he'll always have a special place in my heart... And on my mind mrgreen...

Nature's Beauty

Being the native city-dweller that I am (or at least was 'till recently)... It's not exactly my nature to consider going out in the woods and hiking randomly out of the blue...

But I swear I almost had my gear packed and ready to go on account of this stunning specimen of humanity confused... I've thought it through though (thankfully), and figured perhaps blogging about one of nature's gifts to mankind might be somewhat more productive than getting lost in the wilds of New Jersey cool.

And what a gift to mankind man's best friend is indeed mrgreen...

Knowing how to heinously assault with their weapons of cuteness during a professional photshoot and getting away with it too cool... for shame. I'm afraid the crime scene following this series of photos might be somewhat sticky confused...

But all kidding aside though 30 year-old West Virginian native Michael E.'s on camera presence is truly beyond words. I hope some of you perhaps recall this phenomenal model from a previous feature way back about a year ago. Michael's thankfully moved up somewhat since then... or shall we say just moved out of his home state of West Virginia to a new city in Ohio (with a warm welcome to a new agency to boot).

Not only is Michael an amazing model... but as you can clearly tell from some of these shots, he's had the good fortune of working with some truly, truly talented set of photographers (including Chris Gosse, Brian Marrs, and the amazing Thomas Watkins). The majority of Michael's photographers have been local to the West Virginia area too, making some of his work floating out there all the more awe-inspiring.
Oh and Michael's build kinda fits with the current on-going poll as well, so yes my motives for posting him are somewhat tainted with bias.

But I reiterate, what a phenomenal model. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I have an eye exam I should be scheduling for later this week confused.
