Dominic far out west

The countryside is amazing... I'm just not ready to leave it yet cool. What with the fresh air, the sounds of nature (and whatnot)... and the abundance of gorgeous sights to see.

Some sites of course are obviously more worth seeing than others mrgreen...

Introducing yet another surreal beauty from the far west... 21 year old California model/actor/film student Dominic M.

Dominic's been modeling for a couple years now and has had the opportunity to shoot with a who's who of talented photographers including Thomas Watkin, Frank Trapper, Phil Collum and Jeremy Kost.... And as i'm sure you're well aware by now, the results were nothing short of amazing.

Currently Dominic is resides in LA as he finishes up his film studies. Along with aspirations to gain a foothold in acting, he's also opening up doors for himself on the production side of film-making by doing a little camerawork, directing, and writing and editing.
Interestingly enough, Dominic has two movies slated to open this year... Both of which happen to be directed by David DeCoteau (of the Brotherhood Series fame). Suffice to say you can expect a lot of skin from these upcoming thrillers cool.
Dominick M (14)
So will Dominic turn out to be a future director, producer, or film star? Let's just say hopefully he gets into directing 10 or 20 years from now... cause for the time being, I think I'd prefer to see modeling and acting side of his career aspirations mrgreen.

Everything is amazing... yet nobody's happy...

There's a saying that goes like this: The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think. Comedian Louis CK made an appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien a couple days ago... and proved just how much of a thinker he is.

Although yes this is comedy, I also think it's an absolutely brilliant assessment of just how spoiled our generation is. Wise words from a wise man indeed cool.

Cowboy Brent vs Cowboy Chase... fight!

The phenomenal beauty Chase Wright facing off against the amazing one Brent Van Zant... This might be a tough one... at least for me. This stunning duo just happen just to be a pair in my short list of my all-time favorite models. So as you might expect, I hold both these two cowboy-themed shots of them as being equally perfect...

Equal so much as with regards to my humble standards mrgreen... So why don't I just put it up to a vote? These two are far above standard models, so it should be interesting to see who comes out on top (factoring in of course the links I provided above cool)... Cowboy Brent vs Cowboy Chase, is it really possible to choose one over the other?

Why Youtube, why?...

Why, must you consistently bombard me with your endless stream of videos featuring people making total fools of themselves in front of a camera. We don't get enough of that in the mainstream media apparently? Do you derive some sick pleasure out of all this? ... Was that a yes?? ... Well fine I guess, whatever cool. I'll watch your videos... but I'm not necessarily gonna like it.
Ok, so maybe I liked these videos a little... in a 'they're so horrendous that they're borderline funny' kind of way? Plus never hurts to have super cute guys singing (or lip-syncing to be more accurate) to keep one's attention. To be honest, considering the competition that's out there... (*cringe*), I really don't mind the goofiness aspect.
Anyhow both these clips are by a youtube comedy group based out of LA... I believe from the looks of it it seems to be Hollywood (the sign gave it away cool). And yeah, the geeky guy in the second video would be so by my type... if he wasn't such a hyper-active stalker mrgreen...

Who is this... Obama...?

This President of ours... who exactly is he, this "man" we've come to "know" and "admire" as President Obama? How did he get here? Where did he come from? And what are his ultimate goals?... This charismatic yet mysterious politician who we're now hailing as the 44th President of these United States...
(*removes hat*)... Excuse me for a second while I place this tinfoil on the counter... Ok, where was I... oh yeah mrgreen. So seriously, who is President Barack Obama? Well, apparently some 'brilliant' minds have come up with a couple of theories that might shock you (perhaps even disturb you somewhat). The Daily Show investigates...
So what's the conclusion? I guess if you're a charismatic/popular figure, then odds are better than not, you're either the anti-Christ, or the reincarnation of Hitler... (never both at once though mrgreen).... Interesting confused... Never underestimate the potential for comedy within the midst of stark raving lunacy cool...

Just relaxin': Take #2

So I posted a couple days or so ago about a chair I thought 'looked' somewhat more comfortable than the current seat I'm using. Apparently a reader named Back Spasms made clear I was in the wrong, and that in reality the seat I so admired was in fact uncomfortable. My apologies confused...I figure we might as well do a second take mrgreen...

So um, how about that couch there. Wat with the gorgeous plaid stripes, and uh... comfortable cushions? I would *so* love a couch like that right about now. I could totally see myself cozying in and taking a nap for a couple of hours on it. Oh and that hat ornament they added is a great touch. Hopefully if I order one of these they include the stand that comes with it free of charge cool...

Just Beautiful Greg

Do the clothes make the man or does the man make the clothes? Who can really say for sure. But there has to be something noted about a model like Greg here who's so strikingly beautiful he can carry off the standard cowboy look to total perfection...
greg
So is it the outfit that makes him sexy or is the model himself that has to carry the outfit...
greg (1)
Granted there's no universal answer, but with Greg, I think it's safe to say it's the latter. Just astounding... These shots were taken by a choreographer/dancer turned photographer who goes by the name Zedneram. He used to have a website up (which you cab still see labeled on these shots), but from what I gather it's no longer up. You can still check out some of his work though over at his modelcoast, flickr, and modelmayhem pages.

Just Relaxin'

Does anyone else get the impression the seat featured in this shot looks incredibly comfortable? I get the feeling it's somewhat soft around the top and very contoured in the middle cool. What I wouldn't do for a chair that comfortable right about now... I swear I'll have a bad back before I reach the age of 30 with this faux leather/uncomfortable computer seat I've been using this past year confused...
Oh, and what about that rug... is that actually real cow's hide? Looks, um... well, actually I could do without the cow's hide. But nevertheless, perfect shot of that rug, and seat... oh, and the bare brown wall isn't too bad either. I think it's a nice touch cool...

Mid-west Washboard

Ah the mid-west... home to the rolling plains, seemingly endless farmlands... oh, and tons and tons of model-worthy hotties just waiting to be discovered... This guy here is definitely no exception... mrgreen...
cowboy hot
Introducing a super hot country beauty... part-time model/full-time college student 21 year-old Dale.

As you might've noticed, Dale appears to be one of those rarest of rare models... in that his, um, abs-set comes as a pack of 8 mrgreen... Granted 6 is great, but once you get to 8 you've officially entered into washboard territory (at least by my standards cool)....

Kansas has really never looked better... Just Beaut... well no, actually Just Ab-tastic mrgreen.

Sam Rockwell diving...

Here's a clip is from a movie that I posted about months and months ago (It's since been erased so I'm re-posting)... This clip originates from a 1997 movie titled Lawn Dogs and features actor Sam Rockwell in the role of a landscaper named Trent. This particular scene takes place at the very beginning of the movie as Trent takes a small pit-stop while passing over a tiny bridge.
From the looks of things, perhaps Trent should be looking into olympic diving? Anyhow Lawn Dogs is currently available on DVD, Netflix and Torrents. I mistakenly deleted this movie before getting a chance to watch it in its entirety (don't ask me what I was thinking)... but judging from its IMDb rating, perhaps I should find the time to rent it one weekend.

Jamie Bamber advertises Peta

Actor Jamie Bamber bears some skin... err... or is that Jamie Bamber baring skin?... Ah well, either way, Peta's found a decent excuse to get Battlestar's super hunk actor Jamie Bamber to adorn a more 'animal-friendly' line of fur mrgreen.

It's all for a noble cause though. Peta is currently running a campaign to protect the Canadian black bears routinely hunted and used as hides for the Queens ceremonial guards over at Buckingham Palace. I wouldn't say I'm the biggest animal rights activists, but I suppose whatever gets Jamie to shed a little clothing has to ultimately be a great cause, no?... now if only they hadn't cropped this shot so high confused...
