Fantastic Drew

So yeah, apparently on my way home a couple days ago I almost tripped and fell over a prostate object lying on a small on some steps... confused... Turns out those guys at Fantastics are still up to their old mischief... choosing of all places to conduct a sexy photoshoot on concrete flight of steps. What'll they think up next cool?

Ok, so getting photographer Matthew Lyn to conduct a really, really hot photoshoot on a flight of concrete stairs, only to follow it up with a gorgeous pool session?... And featuring a super beautiful model like Drew Van Acker no less? I'd say Fantastics really outdid themselves this time...

...But this is really technically par for the course in terms of their consistent 'fantasticness' mrgreen so no, they haven't really outdone themselves...

Well, on second thought, this wild speedo may be a little over the top... Fantastics may in fact have outdone themselves after all mrgreen. Just Beautiful... You can check out more Drew over at Fantasticsmag's May feature on 'Shoot some pool'.

State of Submergency - Young Jesse Spencer

Long before the suits and rare life-threatening diagnoses, the ever present clash of personalities between a gorgeous doctor and his medical genius of a boss... And long before most of us had any clue as to what the heck a 'disseminated intravascular coagulation' might be referring to... confused
Swimming Upstream
Ok, so I still have no clue as what a disseminated [random medical jargon] might be referring to... but I think you get the point. Long before most of us on this side of the Pacific had ever heard of gorgeous Aussie actor Jesse Spencer, way back in 2003 there he was, swimming his heart out in perhaps one of the best Aussie films I've come across as of yet.

I can't say enough about how pleasantly surprised I was to stumble across an actual decent movie like Swimming Upstream (2003) featuring one of my favorite hottie actors. As a matter of fact, the quality of the movie really superseded the fact that a couple of gorgeous Aussie actors spent most of the film bearing their speedos (although admittedly that was kind of icing on the cake mrgreen).
So I was inspired enough to make a music video featuring Jesse confronting both his father's disapproval and his brother's ambition... (as opposed to simply featuring the standard clip I was planning on posting). No easy feat mind you considering how hobbled I am in my current state of malfunctioning computer-ness... but yeah, I think the outcome looks rather nice.
Swimming Upstream (1)
You can check out Swimming Upstream in its entirety over at Amazon's video on-demand service... Or you can purchase the DVD itself from both Amazon and the official movie site. There isn't exactly any romance per se featured in this film, but if you're interested in a fantastic drama (of course featuring beautiful men) I highly recommend checking this one out cool.

Just Beautiful Jack and Ianto

What an amazing promo still for the latest season of Torchwood. I just happened to be randomly surfing across my blogmates, and happened upon this shot featured on Superherofan. What an absolutely stunning shot featuring actors John Barrowman and Gareth David-Lloyd... quite easily the two hottest actors to grace the Torchwood facility... As expected I've gone ahead and converted this into my latest Iphone wallpaper mrgreen...

Apparently from what I've read, season 3 of Torchwood is aiming to return in July as a five episode miniseries set to air on BBC America?... What?? confused... I really, really hope they're planning on perhaps extending it cause after waiting at least a year for this show to return it kinda seems like a let-down neutral.
Anyhow, 5 episodes or not, I'll still be crossing my fingers hoping they finally expand upon the underlying Jack/Ianto relationship... Three seasons should really be enough to get it off the ground hopefully... (Plus I think they're long overdue for their own music video mrgreen...)

Third time's the charm

I will be purchasing The Sims 3 when it officially releases next Tuesday neutral... I can't believe I'm actually saying this after washing my hands years ago of part 2, but apparently it's come to this cool.

So as some of you might know by a now a 'version' of the Sims 3 was somehow leaked on the net about a month prior to the upcoming June 2nd release date. I'm putting 'version' in quotes seeing as no one's really sure whether this was the final version or just a beta (and EA's apparently being tight-lipped... as expected). Anyhow, I figured I might as well take a look to see what this latest version is all about... any major improvements or new towns, does it actually work on my currently memory-impaired PC? A curious mind wanted to know... so of course, there I went and downloaded it confused...
Granted it turned out I wasn't exactly the best at creating houses like this guy in this video, but I will say this... after a couple hours of playing the leaked version, I decided to pre-order the real one. The decision was really simple... the game is fun. Perhaps a lot more so than I would've expected, but between the freedom of finally being able to leave your house and the somewhat 'RPG-elements' added to it, I can see myself wasting a couple hours a week on this at the least (thank god I quite WoW last year mrgreen).
And for the record, my sim looks about 100 times better than this model being used for the screenshot. His boyfriend's not too bad looking either now that I think about it cool... But yeah, I highly recommend giving this game a chance (despite any preconceptions). After about a decade, EA may have finally gotten it right mrgreen...

Aquahotties

So yeah, I have a confession to make mrgreen... It's a little embarrassing but it's something I figured I'd have to come to terms with eventually, so I'll just let it all out...

I.... am.... in fact... Ok, so this is kinda hard, but here goes mrgreen.... I'm not the biggest fan of swimmer's bodies. There I said it (*eyes shift awaiting disapproval*).
Ok, so maybe that revelation wasn't really all that embarrassing cool... But yeah, for some odd reason I'm not into the whole ultra-lean look that tends to go with aquatic sports (at least not as a primary preference). Not really sure if I can pinpoint why, but in case you might've had the chance to check some of the archives during my time away, you'll notice I'm tend to go for the somewhat 'beefier' athletes.

As with all general rules though, there are exceptions... I'm counting about five right now... or perhaps make that six mrgreen...

The best/worst picture

Is it possible for a shot to be so amazing that it's absolutely an eyesore to look at?

Well yeah apparently... If you happen to be taking a shot of a specimen of utter male perfection, and do so in a poorly lighted room with a less than stellar camera sad... That said, with regards to the wish-he-were-a-model subject of this shot... just wow! I'll leave it at that mrgreen...

Dream Roomates

While we're still on the subject of gorgeous could-be-models...

Absolutely, err, ab-tastic?

These three guys could easily pass for models... and to be quite honest, I kind of wanted to post them just as an example of what I really, deep-down inside actually hoping back when I was being assigned my first roomate a couple years back.
Something tells me this last guy would've been perfect mrgreen... Although truth be told, he kind of looks more like an MMA fighter than a model... almost like he's ready to kick the crap out of the person taking the picture confused... Nice tattoo though... and yes, he's the hottest of my three dream scenario roomates (at least IMHO cool...)
