Sculpted Symmetry

Were one to fold this particular model in half...

Both sides would pretty much amount to perfectly symmetrical equivalents. Just absolutely stunning... And yes, this is my personal definition of 'curves in all the right places' cool...

Spring is in the Air

And as the winter season goes, so goes the necessity for those cumbersome coats/shirts and pants mrgreen
And out come the obligatory flashing of the abs and shorts and model worthy good-looks (how I wish this were so IRL sad)... But yes, it's that season again for the grass to grow a little taller, and perhaps a little greener if you're willing to put in the time and effort...
...and... I feel it's also perfect timing for us to take a little trip back in time somewhat (say perhaps to somewhere about the mid 2000s), and take a look back at some of the timeless beauty that pervaded throughout that ill-fated yet overall exciting decade cool.
006 (2)
A couple of these models above and below might be familiar to some of you, while others maybe not so much. But nevertheless, for a brief moment in time, each and every one of these guys were captured by a brilliant photographer and featured in one of the hotter coffee table photography books of the past decade.
I'm of course referring to photographer Adam Raphael's 2008 compilation otherwise known as Barely Working (or as I like to call it, walking bare-ly mrgreen). But yeah, some of the featured photos in the book actually date back to the early 2000s (at least as far as I can tell), however they're just as stunning today as the day they were taken... and yes, I feel they're quite appropriate enough to usher in the new season... Or at least usher in a new rotation for my wallpapers, whichever one works best cool.

Mid-west Cowboy

Just handsome...

And although not exactly what I'd call a 'refined' model (at least not as of yet), 22 year-old Ohio-native Justin K. here certainly has the mid-western 'All-American' look pretty much locked solid.... As is evident from the wholesome boy-next-door appeal, to his downright sexiness range mrgreen...
And plus, who doesn't love a gorgeous smile every now and again mrgreen...

Justin's been modeling for only about a year now, so hopefully as he progresses, we'll be seeing more from him... But I think for now, this is a pretty gorgeous introduction enough cool.

Paul Gordon?

The Concept: A modern-day version of Flash Gordon.
The Subject: A certain California-native turned actor by the name of Paul Walker.
The Execution: Well...
Paul Walker as Flash Gordon
...judging from the tan-lines, the definition, and the face, I'd say pretty much flawless. 2012's Flash Gordon movie hasn't exactly been cast yet, so maybe this concept might be something to take into consideration mrgreen...

Anyhow, you can check out more from the artist behind this fantastic interpretation of Paul Walker over at DeviantArt.

I heart Leon Ockenden

How is it possible that perhaps one of the most gorgeous UK hearthrobs currently on the scene... can somehow oddly enough wind up being one of the most conspicuously absent/ignored actors on the net. I'm thinking perhaps I might have to do something about that smile...
Plague Over England - By Nicholas de Jongh
...by introducing you of course to one of my latest crushes; the 31 year-old British actor Leon Ockenden (as seen most beautifully captured in mid-sentence up above on the left mrgreen). The actor not only responsible for being the latest to 'bear it all' for the UK's hit series The Secret Diary of a Call Girl, but also for modeling the very face gamers across the world have been playing with for the past couple of months in the groundbreaking blockbuster PS3 title Heavy Rain...(a game mind you which I just happen to have fallen in love with cool).
Being that the vast majority of us don't live in the UK, it's understandable that Leon (aka the man behind the polygon face), might be somewhat of a mystery to us. So I figured perhaps examining just a small snapshot of his past acting endeavors might be in order mrgreen...
And yes, if anybody's wondering, I would've paid to see this play in person. It's a shame considering Plague over England only ran for a couple of months back in 2009... and even then, it only made it's appearance in the UK (I'm envious sad)... But whatever, both Leon and his acting partner 29 year-old Sam Heughan sure have the passion angle locked solid... and I think that's good enough for me mrgreen.
Speaking of Sam Heughan, something tells me we might have to explore a few more of his passionate angles sometime in the near future (hints, winks and whatnot mrgreen). But for the time being, I think I'm fine with him sharing his moment with Leon. They certainly made a fantastic... pair. Now if only they could've generated a Sam model to go with my current Norman Jayden (aka Leon Ockendon) character in Heavy Rain. The possibilities would be endless cool...

Creativity accounts for something

Apparently creativity still accounts for something nowadays...

And if nothing else, this has got to be one of the most creative games I've played in say perhaps the last decade (and that might not even be an exaggeration cool). Anyhow, I'm of course adding this post as somewhat of an illustration for the previous one above... but considering how much I love Heavy Rain, I figured I might as well separate one from the other.
One can only imagine the possibilities had this title emerged on the PC. But ah well... I've been sitting on the fence for a while now as to whether or not I should go for the Sony investment. I think I might've finally found a nudge to push me over the edge cool.

Journey Gong tells us a Bedtime Story

(*looks at the clock*)... Well, I guess it's still kind of a bit early for bed, but I suppose if photographer Journey Gong has a bedtime story to tell, I might as well get comfortable for this one mrgreen.
Comfortable enough at least to slip into yet another utterly beautiful photographic dream sequence... One mind you thus far without words, but as they say pictures do tend to speak for themselves.
beautiful eric (9)
And I for one am loving - every - minute of this story... Million dollar smile and all...
(*sigh*)...Anyhow, as some of you might recall Eric was featured a couple weeks ago for Journey's previous Waking up in New York series. This is in essence a follow-up to that set... Except this time focusing on the gorgeous 24 year-old alone, as he aids in Journey's effort to make our dreams just a tad sweeter cool. (And doing a fantastic job all the while modeling some ultra-sexy briefs by Timoteo, along with a couple nifty shirts courtesy of JS Dirty Industry).

Just mesmerizing... I don't think I put these shots any more succinctly...

You can check out more of Journey's gorgeous photography over at his own personal photoblog... (He recently took what apparently turned out to be a breathtaking trip to Australia, so be sure to check that out as well). And if you're a photographer and so inclined, you can check out more of the bright-eyed beauty Eric Carpenter above over at his own MMayhem portfolio. Oh and yes, the Timoteo wasteband does bring out his eyes doesn't it confused?
