In case you haven't realized it yet, yes I am a sucker for romance... actually maybe I should rephrase that... In case you haven't realized it yet, yes I am in fact a sucker for 'Bromance' ... Darn you Brody Jenner for bringing that word into the lexicon (I can't stop using it )...

Hopeless Romantic

Just adorable...

Now granted I love the hot model shots as much as the next guy... but at the end of the day when all is said and done, I'm still just a hopeless romantic at heart . So yeah, these shots are sweet... kind of puts a smile on your face ...

Love in the deep south

Outstanding... I think that adjective pretty much sums it up for this movie. These two clips originate from an independent film from 2000 called Red Dirt (I think at the time it pretty much went under the radar). It focuses as you can guess, on the story of two men, Griffith Joseph Burns (played by Dan Montgomery Jr) and Lee Todd (Walton Goggins)... the two develop a forbidden attraction to each other, in the ultra-conservative deep south, and ultimately have to face up to the consequences pursuing that love might entail. The pace of the film can be kind of slow at times, but the storyline and acting is very much enrapturing.

Dan Montgommery Jr. was really the draw for me for this movie. He was absolutely gorgeous at the time... Interestingly enough though, It's Walton who's found the real success since this film. I'm not sure if Dan still acts...

Sinchronicity

Two excellent clips I recently stumbled upon while friendsurfing... they originate from a 6-part British televisions series dating back to 2006 called Sinchronicity.

These two clips focus on a love triangle that exists between Mani (the doctor played by Navin Chowdhry), Jace (a corporate accountant manager played by Daniel Percival) and Fi (Jace's love interest played by Jemima Rooper). Jace is in fact in love with Fi, but at the same time, he's struggling to come to grips with his bisexuality... and as is plainly obvious to see, Mani has a thing for Jace.

Mani and Jace make for a really hot couple. And the actor who plays Jace is incredibly good looking. Hoepfully we'll see more of them in the near future, I haven't seen any real short-term projects for either for the time being though.

I love images of cute/sexy guys showing affection ... I almost feel like I've already over saturated the blog with all the clips and all. Am I just a hopeless romantic... or just hopless ...

Apparently, they're coining it the Zac Efron 'Gay Kiss'

Is this really what passes for scandalous nowadays? Supposedly the guy on the right is allegedly Zac Efron kissing an uknown 'male friend'. I was trying to research the background with regards to the origin of this pic yesterday, and lo and behold I came upon websites and blogs after blogs calling it a 'scandalous' gay kiss. I'm not sure how people manage to jump the gun and immediately label it gay or scandalous. It's a guy (most likely drunk) kissing another guy on the cheek. We're assuming it's Zac because his publicist has yet to put out a denial, but I think that's where the assumption should end. Last I looked, homosexuality was defined by the capacity to form a romantic relationship with the same sex and/or have intercourse. I see neither in this pic, and to be honest it's not really that great of a candid shot. Personally I'd prefer more evidence before coming to a conclusion; preferably involving an open mouth and tongue, oh and enlarging it and putting it in color might help to sway my opinion... for now I remain skeptical.....

Maybe it's impossible to tell someone's sexual orientation by just looking at them, but is there really such a thing as a teen who's never had a celebrity crush? Zac must be the only one apparently... (I believe I'll be placing this under my 'guys gone wild' label, where the actual really compromising photographs reside )

John Paul and Kieron

John Paul is finally moving on... or so one would hope judging from these two clips. Both originate from the long running British soap Hollyoaks and feature John Paul (James Sutton) and his latest love interest, Kieron Hobbs (a priest new to town), played by Jake Hendriks... The clip above highlights John Paul and Kieron's first kiss (albeit an inebriated one), after concluding a charity fashion show. Kieron is indeed quite the hottie with his shirtless blazer, personally I find him to be a step up from Craig . I believe Kieron is slated to be John Paul's main love interest this year, so it'll be interesting to see how the relationship develops (especially considering Kieron's ordained status and all the obvious issues that may arise from such a taboo relationship)... this is only the beginning.

I found this particular clip while doing my usual blogsurfing. Basically a montage of John Paul trying to get over his old relationship with Craig by way of forming a close friendship with Kieron... all this put the the tune of Veritcal Horizon's 'Everything you want' of course... Suffice to say I think John Paul and Kieron will make a sexy couple, and I'll be keeping up on this one. You can see more on John Paul's storyline here.

A must see...

The latest installment of Deniz and Roman, in what amounts to hands down the hottest series I've ever come across, German soap Alles was zählt. I love it, and wish it were in English (seeing as I can't understand without a translation). Still great nonetheless, the locker room scene in this clip is well worth it. Bully gay scene?

Finding easter eggs like this always brings games up a few notches in my book. This scene originates from a Playstation 2 game by 'Rockstar Games' called Bully. Following in the tradition of their long line of games involving some form of violence or another (i.e Grand Theft Auto and Manhunt), Bully, as you might have guessed from its namesake, basically let's you play the role of a school bully.

This particular easter egg involves each clique from the game. Among the Jocks, Preppys, Greasers, and Nerds, there is one kid who apparently swings both ways. A very interesting yet unnecessary element that the developers decided to add to the game, yet very much appreciated by gay gamers (I would assume). Hopefully more developers will follow suit in the future.

There's an updated Nintendo Wii version coming out in March. Suffice to say I'll be picking up a copy.

Wow... ok, what happened?

When I left, Football (American) was on top. Even with my extra vote it lost out to soccer? Kinda surprising... Well, maybe not really. Considering American Football's popularity starts in New England and ends in Hawaii. Soccer on the other hand has the backing of the rest of the world going for it. Can't really beat that.

It's interesting that Rugby came in a close third. I'm wondering though how much my little theme had to do with that. Also there's a lot of tennis fans... and even more people who completely hate sports...?! Not even just that their sport wasn't listed, but they literally hate *all* existing sports on Earth . Wow.

A well... My sport lies defeated...

Congrats soccer... maybe I should look into starting a new theme... just maybe...

I should also mention that there is a new poll on the left, with regards to what I should add to this blog. The results of that poll will in fact impact the blog.

Deniz and Roman

First there was Jean Paul and Craig, then there was Luke and Noah... Now, Deniz and Roman.

Well... not exactly in that order. But I think you get the point. These two are probably the hottest couple I've seen in a soap. They feature two characters, Deniz Öztürk and Roman Wild, played by Igor Dolgatschew and the insanely sexy Dennis Grabosch respectively. The clips come from a German soap named Alles was Zählt... Which I believe loosely translates to, Everything that Counts (don't quote me on that ).

You can thank Oliver and his All About Strength blog for not only providing the great clips, but also adding the subtitles... for those of us who happen to be... German-language impaired.

According to Oliver, the actor who plays Roman (Dennis Grabosch) is also openly gay... which sort of explains the chemistry.

For good measure, I've added one last very short clip featuring Dennis that I had sitting around on my comp. I don't speak German unfortunately, so this one isn't translated like the others.
