New Poll Question

There's a new poll up to the top left... although this time it's not exactly the start of a new theme. I figured I might as well use this new poll as an opportunity to satiate a little curiosity by asking a question that examines an all too natural reaction.

So... a guy on the street passing by (or perhaps just idling around) has caught your eye... but what was it about him that actually made you take a second look? If I were to use this shot as an example, I'd say I noticed his 'attire' first... armband Ipods and shorts can be hot on the beach ... But what about you, what would you have noticed first? Vote, and let's find out ...

This poll perhaps would've been more appropriate 4, 5 or maybe even 6 years ago... or at least that's the conclusion I came to about a week after I posted it up. Unfortunately by then it was too late and I figured I enjoy posting in themes so no point in starting another random one so soon .

So which line of work boasts the hottest men? Well, just analyzing the question in retrospect it almost seems like an obvious no brainer... In that the winning category ultimately encompasses every single other option I listed... Just brilliant on my part really ... (*looks for dunce cap*)...

Of course that's not to say that acting, sports, the military etc... don't have their fair share of gorgeous guys... It's just that the best examples of hot guys are in fact models being that by default their job is to take good pictures. Plus add the talented photographers into the mix and the scales pretty much break on one side. *Makes Note*: Next time make poll less subjective .

Cowboy Brent vs Cowboy Chase... fight!

The phenomenal beauty Chase Wright facing off against the amazing one Brent Van Zant... This might be a tough one... at least for me. This stunning duo just happen just to be a pair in my short list of my all-time favorite models. So as you might expect, I hold both these two cowboy-themed shots of them as being equally perfect...

Equal so much as with regards to my humble standards ... So why don't I just put it up to a vote? These two are far above standard models, so it should be interesting to see who comes out on top (factoring in of course the links I provided above )... Cowboy Brent vs Cowboy Chase, is it really possible to choose one over the other?

New Poll

As you might've noticed to the top left, a new poll has been added. So what's being decided upon this time you might ask? Well, I figure might as well place a matchup between a couple different general professions that tend lend themselves to producing an overabundance of Just Beautiful men. My standards are somewhat low, so I'll leave it up to you guys to figure out which category comes out on top ...

I chose a few totally random shots from the archives just to illustrate a couple options (don't let these sway your vote one way or the other though ). This might probably the start of a new theme too, so it'll be interesting to see how this goes ...

In case you haven't noticed, there's a new poll up and ready for voting ...

To be honest this is actually a 'semi' new poll... seeing as its a follow-up (of sorts) to the previous poll that closed a couple days ago. I basically just wanted to gage what the consensus would be if I added a few interesting/varied options... I have a general idea of how things might go, but I suppose it's best to let the course run itself ... Don't forget to vote guys .

Yet another poll has come to its conclusion... And the results? Well, they're not too surprising (for the most part). Aside of from the fact that there are actually *more* people not into guys than there are people who'd like to see shirtless guys in cargo pants?! Lol I thought that was a joke option, but yeah... even with the case I've been trying to make for hot guys on this blog, there are still really that many people browsing around who don't find any of them sexy at all? Now that's something ...

Anyhow, I sort of expected the speedo category to do a little better than it did... maybe placing it next to boxer-briefs might have caused it to lose a couple votes here and there... Plus it was a mistake not adding towels as an option, but I guess that could fit in the 'other' category. As expected though, boxer-briefs came out on top with regular boxers following close behind (and briefs, jeans, and of course speedos pretty much tied). So basically the consensus is that if you're gonna go shirtless, you might as well be wearing underwear of some form or another... preferably boxer-briefs ...

Gotta wonder how the poll would've turned out though had I gone along with my gut instinct and added the 'nothing' category in there ...

Can Hairy also be sexy?

So I got an interesting comment a little bit earlier regarding my post from a few days back featuring Michael Churchill (one of my favorites btw )... Apparently it had something to do with his 'hair'... and its 'repellent' qualities...

So it got me to thinking... does hairyness really take away from attractiveness? And by that I mean not just body hair, but a little facial hair as well... are men who aren't fully shaved somewhat less appealing than men who are? (I believe this was part of a poll not too long ago no? )

Personally speaking regarding my own tastes, I don't sport a beard or a mustache (I shave once a week so that should give a hint as to how prone my chin is to growing hair)... and when it comes to my taste in guys, as you might've noticed by now, I've developed somewhat of a tendency to to lean more towards the hairless models (unintentionally so of course )...

Truth be told though, I'd say I'm kind of ambiguous when it comes this topic. I've never really paid attention to body hair... unless of course its excessively noticeable... (back hair? um... no )...

So I figured I'd satiate my curiosity to a certain degree. I'm not gonna make this a month-long side poll, but I figured asking as a general poll would work. So yeah... body hair, what say you? Given a choice between hairless and body hair, which would you generally prefer?

I almost want to ask a follow-up question regarding whether "clothes make the man or does the man make the clothes"... but I think the one that's up there will suffice for now.
