After an entire decade of planning, programming, postponing, and refining, the most anticipated game of 2008 is finally going on sale today. Already deemed an 'Editor's Choice' by IGN's reviewing team, this newest entrée in the Smash Bros. franchise is being hailed as nothing less than a masterpiece in pixelated mayhem.

If you own a Nintendo Wii...
...And you live in North America, odds are better than not, you will be purchasing a little game called Super Smash Brothers Brawl today. If you own a Wii, and you don't intend on buying this game, then please by all means do yourself a favor and sell it on Ebay .
Smash Bros. is the singular franchise that makes owning the Wii worth it. The game sold 800,000 copies in only its first week on sale in Japan, and as of now, has broken the 1 million mark in record time. With the game being released today in North America, Europe, including the UK, and Australia (both of which I imagine are quite possibly English speaking countries ) will have several months more to wait for this exciting title... with the European release taking place at the end of spring/beginning of summer (Australia's release date has yet to be announced). I can imagine many US and Canadian copies will be shipped overseas in the coming days.
