The artwork of Masanori

Easily one top five favorite yaoi/bara artists... the ultra-talented (yet somewhat mysterious) Masanori.

He's not really all that mysterious, but I feel the term is applicable, considering trying to find any information on this guy is like trying to look up someone who doesn't exist. His artwork is practically everywhere, but personal information regarding the artist is almost non-existent.

That being said, you may remember some of Masanori's work from a previous art post featuring the guys from the Hunks Workshop computer game.

Masanori gained internet fame back in 2004 for his sensual/seductive portrayal of Capcom's Rival School male characters. He's completed quite a few works featuring these characters since then, including the picture posted above of Roy... (incidentally enough, this character was also my favorite hottie from the game ).

As was previously mentioned, Masanori is not only known for his anime-styled erotic portrayal of the male body... he's also had his hand in making several similarly themed mangas and a couple of flash games, including strip mahjong, and of course the popular Hunks Workshop title.
