Henry Cavill does Dunhill Black

Imagine a fragrance... a fantastic scented fragrance that allows you to smell as great as one of the most handsome British male actors to grace the small screen. A scent so strong, perhaps it might even improve your chances on picking up an admirer (or two) as you ride along in your $100,000 Maserati ... Have I gotten your attention?

No?... well, err confused... Dunhill Black of course hopes to succeed where I've apparently failed... and something tells me they've got the right idea with this one cool...

Introducing the newly released fragrance Dunhill Black. Presented of course by none other than one of the most beautiful actors alive. The strikingly handsome Henry Cavill.
Truth be told, I've never actually physically smelled one of Dunhill's brands of men's fragrances (and if I did I most likely wouldn't have been able to identify it). But I am somewhat curious to find out if this is any good. So far I've seen the scent described as that of an old English gentleman (confused) and 'a clump of nettles' being cleared away... sorry, neither of those really help in providing any tangible references for me...

Still, I might just order a bottle (eventually)... Seems sexy enough cool...
How unfortunate Cavills aren't included with shipping cry... a well, I guess only one more month to go till The Tudors returns. I'll have to wait a little while longer till I get my weekly fix of British perfection.

Henry Cavill: Just Beautiful

Unfortunately, it's that time of year again. One of my favorite shows is heading into this current season's sunset... and what a season it was...

Aside from the terrific acting, and fantastic plotlines (that sometimes tend to take liberties with historical accuracy for entertainment purposes), the show is packed with some of the most beautiful actors and actresses in Britain. Natalie Dormer and Jonathan Rhys Meyers make for an incredibly gorgeous, and volatile royal couple... But for me, one gorgeous actor stands head and shoulders above the rest in terms of just pure stunning good looks...

He's a 25 year old British actor hailing from the Jersey Channel Islands off the coast of France, by the name of Henry Cavill.

When I look for the word 'Handsome' in the dictionary, this is what I imagine I'd find next to definition as an illustration. The man is *so* strikingly handsome, if you mention the show to anyone who watches it regularly his name constantly comes up time and time again as one of the notable male actors on the cast.

Being that the Tudors season finale airs tomorrow night, I thought now would be as good a time as any for posting a few of my favorite production stills from Season 2. You'll notice there's one common denominator tying all of them together mrgreen...

Although this season has come to its conclusion, I highly recommend buying or renting the box set of Season 1, and/or of Season 2 (whenever it comes out). I'd have never thought creating a show surrounding the storyline of King Henry the VIII (and his many notable wives) would be all that entertaining, but this series really grows on you over time. I've come to love the entire cast... it's unfortunate so many of them have to die off for somewhat historical integrity neutral)

The Return of the Tudors

My favorite series on Showtime is returning to the air tonight. Season 2 of the critically-acclaimed fictional adaptation of everyone's favorite dysfunctional British royal family is kicking off it's newest season on the Showtime network this Sunday. For those of you not familiar with the show, the Tudors is basically based off England's infamous royal house of Tudor (which brought forth the likes of King Henry the VIII and Queen Elizabeth the I). The show takes place during the early period of the Tudor dynasty, and weaves a fictitious yet quite enthralling tale surrounding the exploits of a young King Henry VIII.

Returning of course are King Henry the VIII (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers), Anne Boelyn (Natalie Dormer), Catherine of Aragon (Maria Doyle Kennedy my favorite actress in the series), and of course Charles Brandon, played by freakishly sexy guycandy Henry Cavill...
I have to admit, if I were a fish, I'd be dangling off a hook right now on account of Henry Cavill and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. These two guys (and especially Henry) were the perfect eyecandy combination that worked as bait, initially luring me into what turned out to be a fantastic series... one that I'd otherwise might have totally ignored...

Be sure to check out Season 2 of the Tudors when it airs tonight on Showtime... and as usual for those of you who can't catch these episodes when they air, there's always the torrents option. Also, the Season 1 DVD or the Netflix renting option is on available for those of you interested in catching up.
