Italian Beauty

Out of any sport I can think of off the top of my head, I'd have to say Rugby players are definitely at the top in terms of athletes who could just as easily pass off as models. Slowly but surely I'm starting to rethink that whole 'gymnasts' being the hottest athletes thing cool...
Andrea Marcato
... And why not? When you have athletes as beautiful as angel-faced Italian rugby player Andrea Marcato here. There oughta be a law against knocking guys on their backs for a living and managing to look this good mrgreen.
Andrea Marcato (1)Just Beautiful... oh and can you guess what's the common denominator amongst most rugby players? mrgreen...

Generation Xcessive Male Bonding?

Ok, here's the thing... I have a lot of straight friends... or should I say 99% of my male friends are straight. I have never in my life seen guys get drunk like the Sandbach Rugby players featured in this documentary, Generation Xcess. Unbelievable...

Generation Xcess aired back in the summer of 2007 (I believe)... and basically featured random 'young people' being followed around by a camera as they drank excessively and did random drugs throughout the night (hence the namesake). One such group that was followed were a group of Rugby players from the town of Sandbach. Suffice to say these kids drank, and drank and drank some more... resulting in some rather unique 'displays' of 'straight' male bonding. The pictures speak for themselves, and so does the video mrgreen (Note: Video contains nudity here and there...)
Keep in mind, these guys are 'straight'... well, most of them are at least. I won't exactly vouch for that team captain wink...

(sigh) Playing a sport during the day and getting to lock lips with your 'straight' teammates at night? Where do I sign up cool?... Seriously though, representing their team nationally the way they did on this documentary probably wasn't exactly the brightest move to make... especially considering there were a few repercussions to follow the airing of this show... Nevertheless it made for great TV mrgreen.

Generation Xcess itself is almost impossible to find at this point. Trust me, I've tried... if you're interested in getting this clip in full though, it's available here.

England's Golden Boy

There are tons, and tons, and tons of gorgeous rugby players for sure... but to me, 22 year-Old English Rugby Union player Matthew Tait stands head and shoulders above the rest as one of the most exceedingly gorgeous athletes I've ever laid eyes on...

England's golden boy indeed mrgreen...

Apparently a Greek god has incarnated into mortal form! Why hasn't anyone been notified that Apollo is playing for England confused?
Seriously though, the guy is so incredibly... handsome... and soft-spoken with a beautiful accent too. You gotta wonder if he's anything at all like the guys in the previous post when he goes out at night? One can always dream I suppose mrgreen...

Rugby fans are totally spoiled... so many potential models playing a sport popular everywhere but the US. In a perfect world that would be a crime cool...

...But the world isn't perfect, so for now, I'll gladly settle for what I can get. Fantastic shots of one of the most beautiful athletes walking the face of the earth... Just Beautiful.

Cheeky Rugby

Although I'm not 100% positive on this, I'll just assume these guys are rugby players...

Yep... judging from this angle, I'd say rugby players would seem like an accurate guess. On a side note, that guy to the right has what I'd like to call a 'Crest' smile. Literally blinding (but in a good/sexy way wink).

Naked for a Cause: Gods of Sport

Supporting the McGrath Foundation Charity for breast cancer treatment and awareness, Naked for a Cause was the first calendar to exclusively feature gorgeous AFL and NRL Aussie rugby players posing in the buff... very much following in the current trend of numerous and much lauded rugby players modeling for calendars.

This month Naked for a Cause is releasing a new massive photographic hardcover 'tome' of images (think coffee table-sized), aptly titled “Gods of Sport." Featuring many behind the scenes shots, and extra photographs that never made it into the calendar, this massive 224 pages of top-notch photo-art masterpieces shot by Pedro Virgil, will be available this month. I may actually order one of these myself in the coming days mrgreen... you can check out more regarding the new God's of sport here.

Rugby: Awesome Photography

Just Beautiful...

I think I may have overdone somewhat with my Rugby theme, so this post will be the last one with regards to this theme mrgreen ... at least for the foreseeable future...
