I'd imagine if half the spectrum of visible light got into a car, drove off on the wrong side of the highway, and crashed head on into the other half of the spectrum... we'd end up with something similar to Photographer Jim Stewart's work (albeit a little bit messier )... but I digress...
Two words immediately came to mind upon receiving these superb shots of model/actor/artist, Francesco Cura: "Kaleidoscopic portraiture"... a mouthful yes, but I think it's an apt description for what amounts to a color contrasted visual feast for the eyes.
Jim has been collaborating with Francesco since 2005 now and in his own words, he describes Francesco as being somewhat of a 'photogenic chameleon'... indeed, after having visited Francesco's site, I'd have to very much agree... it has to be seen to be believed . You can check out more of Jim Stewart's fantastic photography over at his luckyshots photography page.
