Before Wall-E there was Wally B

This clip comes from a short called Andre and Wall B. Would you believe it if I told you this animated short was created by the future Pixar?... in 1984!... Surprisingly enough it's true. And just to give some perspective, this was the type of computer necessary at the time to create this animated short. Having grown up in the 90s, I can attest with somewhat certainty, these images are pretty much a decade ahead of their time.

About 24 years ago a Lucas Films Graphics Projects team embarked on a groundbreaking CG animation project that essentially set the ground work for most of the animated movies we see today. Lucas Films Graphics Prjoect later went on to develop on its own right and changed its name to Pixar... and the rest is history...Indeed, my conclusion after having also seen Wall-E last weekend, Pixar not only created the post 2-D animating industry, but they set the standard. Boston Gansta?

I swear this kid is either going to end up on comedy central or have his own show. The guy is funny as hell, and he's a total natural... His name is Bo, and he currently has a massive youtube following of 60,000 subscribers, with a good number of his videos having well over 1,000,000 hits. Who'da thunk it... I suppose every now and then you find real talent amongst the random and offbeat videos on that site.

Random Tough Guys...

Although they look tough... I kinda might classify these guys as more as sexy than anything else... Go figure...

They do evoke somewhat of a of 'bad boy' image though (ugh, did I just use that term? ) ...

Unfortunately, I tend to be overly partial to the ripplage of abdominals... I'm assuming that should be more than apparent by this point .

A concession...

Although in some fantasy reality, these two might make quite a hot couple, i must concede, the more realistic relationship is far hotter... yes i know, strange isn't it ...?

Worth Chasing

A smile capable of lighting up a room?... fitting he'd be from the sunshine state...

Gorgeous 23 year-old law student/model hailing from Orlando, Florida, Chase W.

The style, the smarts, and the looks...Chase graduated from his highschool as the class valedictorian. He's currently attending University in Florida studying where he's studying finance with hopes of getting into law afterwards.

Chase took up modeling at the behest of his friends... thankfully so considering he appears to be far more gifted than simply in academics. Being so smart and looking this good is almost what I'd call borderline unrealistic perfection... but in Chase it is in fact a reality.

Since starting modeling, Chase has worked up quite an impressive portfolio. Notables include modeling work for AJR, and a set of outstanding shots by photographer Michael Perez.

A final word on my current Obsession...

So I've just returned from seeing Wanted (starring my current obsession James McAvoy) with a bunch of my friends... in a word, 'wow'... just wow. I barely have any words to describe how intense that movie was from start to finish. Plot twists, massive carnage, a total disregard for the laws of physics... truly pure escapism at its best. James, Morgan, and Angelina all did a magnificently brilliant job. And this may possibly have been one of Angelina's best roles to date.

But what can I say about the man of the moment himself... so, so hot in this movie. I really can't wait to get this one on Blu Ray. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so all I'll say is James just continued to progressively get sexier from his opening scene to the wild finale... and what a wild finale it was, amazing....

Two hours that felt like one, a bold new bar has been set in terms of summer movie mayhem...

1,000,000+ Visitors

About a couple months ago (new year's day of this year to be exact), I came back from a vacation hiatus to find myself almost at 150,000 views... at the time only 4 months had passed since I had created the blog. We're now about 6 months away from that point, January of 2008, and here we are at over 1,000,000 visitors. That's approximately well over 850,000 hits in 6 months. I think it's safe to say this blog has taken off way beyond any expectations I may have had at the onset...

Thanks to all the regular visitors and the newcomers... although this blog is more like a fun side hobby, I'm really appreciative of seeing it getting so much attention. If there was anything I'd say needed improvement, it would probably be my erratic posting habits. Maybe posting more regularly in smaller doses, as opposed to going on a carefree binge everytime I come back ...

We'll see how that goes...

Jake Silbermann: The Face of Beauty

June 1st, 2007... the day a gorgeous young actor by the name of Jake Silbermann both celebrated his 24th birthday and debuted on a long-running CBS daytime soap. Who could've known he'd go on to make television history, and essentially break down an unspoken barrier in the process.

Jake was introduced as a new character by the name of Noah Mayer... the son of a former military officer, he held a deep secret that would eventually lead him down the path of a forbidden relationship... and ultimately newfound love....

Although Jake could arguably be acknowledged as one of the of the most recognizable (and handsome) young actors in the business, he hasn't let his newfound stardom go to his head. Jake's outer beauty is quite equally matched by his endearing charm and humility. Indeed the total package ...

Prior to landing his big break on As the World Turns, Jake was signed to DNA in New York where he did a little modeling.

Jake also starred in a national ad campaign for Gillette Fusion Power razors back in 2006, and has done voice-over work.

His claim to fame though is being one half of the sexy 'Nuke' pairing of Luke and Noah, and in that regard, he does an excellent job. Even with all the controversy such a groundbreaking role has raised for both CBS and its ATWT sponsor Procter & Gamble.
