From what I can tell so far:
The movie is called Cloverfield, and it involves a 'monster' attacking the city. THE END.

Actually, I'm sure there's a lot more to it than that, but they haven't let out too many details as of yet. Everything surrounding this movie is merely speculation and rumors. Nice marketing ploy indeed, hopefully the movie turns out to be worth the price of admission .
