Breath-Taking HDR

Being the visual nutcase that I am, I really can't seem get enough of some of the stunning High Dynamic Range digital photography that's been gaining prominence this past year. The technique is growing in popularity, it's gorgeous, and to me it pretty much feels like the next logical step in terms of the evolution of digital photography as art.

When properly rendered, even the most standard shots transform into incredibly impressive captures...

But when perfected... the end result tends to be absolutely breath-taking... The above rally shots were taken by Deviantart's exxx, while the awe-inspiring sunlit capture of the South-East Asian temple was taken by none other than the premier name in HDR art, Trey Ratcliff (of Stuck in Customs fame).
You can check out more fantastic HDR photography on the Design Inspiration blog.
