Fantastic New HBO Series

Under normal circumstances, I'm wouldn't really classify myself as a 'fan' of anything war related, but on recommendation from a couple of friends, I did manage to catch a couple episodes of one of HBO's new miniseries, Generation Kill. Just from the first two episodes alone, I can tell this show has incredible potential. It's a fantastic/ultra-realistic portrayal of the early days of the Iraq war back in 2003 from the perspective of the young soldiers preparing to engage. Very well scripted, acted, directed, and presented... apparently HBO can do no wrong when it comes to docudrama.
These crazy guys, military porn? what will they think of next?... oh wait neutral...
Anyway These two clips are actually from the first episode. Keep in mind, these were just two scenes I found... somewhat noteworthy for the blog. Although there tends to be a lot of banter and crass jokes, the show in general is about a lot more than what I chose to cut out... I figured though, why ignore eyecandy if it's there for the ogling, no cool?... Anyway, you can catch this series every Sunday at 9pm... also the show is currently available on torrents for overseas viewers and On-Demand (for all you cable people).
