This blog deserves a better class of criminal...

And he's gonna give it to us...
Could The Dark Knight actually be the first movie to force my hand in buying a ticket several days in advance for the weekend showing? Apparently from some of the reports I've been reading, It's looking more and more likely that might be the case. The Dark Knight is opening on a record breaking 4,366 screens, and already a mind-boggling 90% percent of the Friday showings have been sold out throughout the US. Talk about wild anticipation... Most of the showings over in the city are (obviously) also sold out, and I think it's a safe bet to assume not even trying to bother for the IMAX tickets confused...
Already they're calling it not only the greatest comic book-to-movie adaptation of all time, but also both potentially the best movie of the year and one of the best this decade. But does it actually live up to the hype? According to Roger Ebert, the answer is a resounding yes. You can check out Rottentomatoes.com for more reviews on the Dark Knight. I really can't wait to see this one...
