The Macbook i-Want...

"We are working to develop new products that contains technologies that our competition will not be able to match. I cannot discuss these new products, but we are very confident in our product pipeline. " ~ Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer

The Macbook Touch, a long rumored (and much anticipated) technological hybrid blurring the line between Apple's popular brand of notebooks, and their revolutionary touchscreen phones and iPods, has finally been confirmed as a reality... unofficially of course. If the leaks and details currently burning through the net hold any shred of truth (and apparently all indications are leading in that direction), both Mr. Oppenheimer and Apple will be making good on their word in the very near future... competitors beware eek...

You can read up more on the 'Macbook Touch' over at Wired and Gizmodo. Also ABC's 'Ahead of the Curve' featured a pretty in-depth article on the soon to be released technological breakthrough in portable PCs...

A laptop that allows for the use of both a mouse and a finger? Welcome to the future indeed... err, assuming of course this does in fact appear on the store shelves this fall. Oh, and seeing as this product has yet to have an official name, I'm officially dubbing it the The Macbook iWant (for the time being at least mrgreen)...
