Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays!

Ugh, Here we go again with the 'holidays' sad... Kidding of course mrgreen, this is in fact my favorite of the year (and has been since I was about 3), for obvious reasons. I love the holidays and I love the atmosphere about the Holidays. If but only it could carry through all year long neutral.

Anyhow, I'll be away to spend time with family so I won't be around until 2009 (can't believe this decade's already almost over). Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holidays, whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, just spend time with friends and family or don't celebrate anything at all. See you guys next year cool...

2008 Remembered in Breath-taking photography

Yet another year sails off into the clouds, gone with the wind and left forever in the annals of history for future historians to ponder and re-ponder for years to come.

As we stop for a moment to remember the year that was 2008, the triumphs and tragedies, unforeseen disasters and the ever-relentless will of the human spirit to stand through it all. Our good friends at Boston.com's The Big Picture have done the public a service and released some of the most breath-taking captures chronicling this year as it was.
From war, to the great games of a newly reemerging world power, advancements in science and technology, to disasters causing strife in almost every corner of the globe...

Even social revolution the likes of which we haven't witnessed for well over a decade...

2008 has indeed been a year for monumentous change. Definitely one for the history books... And even though 2008 might not have ended on the highest of notes, we still have hope for 2009 and beyond... maybe (just maybe cool) there are in fact better days ahead. Here's to a happy and hopefully prosperous 2009 mrgreen.
You can check out more breath-taking photography over at The Big Picture photoblog run by Boston.com. The blog started back in May of 2008 so in essence, every photo there is a beautiful capture of the year that was 2008.

The '08 Olympics were Beautiful indeed...

Oh, and almost forgot... Speaking of the Big Picture's beautiful photography from the previous post...

I think I failed to adequately emphasize just how much I 'appreciate' the job they did covering the Olympics... I believe these shots really do accentuate the point don't they cool? Definitely breath-taking (in every sense of the word).

Can you tell I've added a new site as part of my long list of bookmarks for future reference mrgreen? What can I say... Just Beautiful...

(*sigh*confused)... Anyway, you can also check out a few of the shots I posted back during the Beijing Games here... And yes, summer of '08 Olympics, ye shall be missed...

Promoting Male Beauty through 2008

It's been a tough year promoting gorgeousness throughout 2008...

But somehow we managed to get through it mrgreen... Ok, so yeah maybe 2008 wasn't too tough, considering the explosion in gorgeous photography that came about this year. I passed both the 1 and 2 million hit milelstone in the span of one year, which I personally find somewhat surprising (to put it mildly). I'm glad there's so many people out there who share my taste for gorgeous guys... and even happier to see so many quality photographers and models rising up and creating the beautiful work you see before you on this blog (they're my primary motivation to be quite honest cool)... But anyway, I just thought I'd say thanks for all the support from everyone... although it kind of feels like a lot of work at times, it's kind of all worth it to see fantastic work promoted that might otherwise get totally overlooked mrgreen.

Oh the weather outside is frightful...

Odds are if you live anywhere in the US and travel to and from work by car, this might be the type of situation you've been faced with this past week. Talk about a logistical nightmare and then some confused...

I'm lucky I made it back in one piece yesterday... considering my swerving 2-wheel drive sedan barely managed to crawl up those steep suburban New Jersey hills. I think 5 or 6 near close-calls of almost getting trapped in the snow is enough of a lesson for me to learn to call out sick next time I notice the white stuff coming down neutral.

Most wonderful time of the year...

So yeah, as much as I hate driving in the snow, I won't lie...
I - love - winter mrgreen...
But then again who doesn't? Beautiful outdoor scenery, beautiful hotties in boxers and shorts, time off from work (finally) or school... ok so maybe the 'beautiful guys' thing doesn't come (necessarily) packaged with this time of year, but I think you get the point mrgreen...
Yep, the scenery really looks fantastic 'round this time of year cool...

The Abdominable Snowman

911 dispatch centers around the Colorado area have recently reported a spike in distressed calls as of late over increased sightings of a rare redheaded species of snowman.

Witnesses have dubbed this mysterious red-headed creature the 'Abdominable Snowman'... on account of his most distinguishing feature.

Several survivors of a close encounter with the unidentified creature recount a harrowing description of the mountainous menace. Reports include a large multi-colored eye, removable feet attached to a strange object, a very low set of leg cloth (probably trousers of some sort or another confused), a very distinguishable set of abdominals, and an inexplicable emanating heat even in the coldest of temperatures...

Should any of you happen upon this 'snowman' while on the slopes, it is strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution neutral...

Just Beautiful Male as Art

(*Eye scans up and down, doubles back and scans down to up*)... Ok... I deem him perfect surprised! Perfect proportionally, perfect face, perfect body, perfect pose, everything's perfect. This right here is the definition of the male as a work of art.

Just Beautiful...

That 'other' hot Eric

Abs - of - steel. Once just a cheesy 90s workout video, fast-forward to 2008 and lo and behold, here it is... defined and personified right before you.

In a word... Wow eek...

Introducing the best of what Indiana has to offer...
Stunning student/professional trainer/model, 23-year old Eric C. Or better yet, as I like to call him, that 'other' hot Eric mrgreen ... (don't worry guys, there can be two hot Erics, I don't mind really confused).

(*sigh*) Anyhow... Eric was actually discovered by a photographer while shopping in a mall (I'd imagine of course he turned quite a few heads in the process). Considering he already had both the look and the body, he was of course a natural talent for modeling. After taking part in a couple outstanding photoshoots (i.e. like the ones you see before you) he ended up being signed at Ford (his most current agency).
Apparently corn isn't the only thing that grows tall in Indiana cool...
