Meet one of the 12 finalists on the newest season of NBC's Nashville Star premiering this Monday. His name is Justin Gaston, and he's a 19-year old model hailing from Pineville, Louisiana...

Justin will be competing this year as one of 12 finalists in NBC's summer answer to the popular American Idol series. The winner of this year's show will be receiving a coveted music contract at Warner Bros. Music, along with a chance at perform a concert at this year's 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Now I know what you must be wondering... 'how exactly does a fashion model transition from showing off clothes and underwear, to singing country music'?...

Well quite simple really... Justin has been singing and playing the guitar long before getting into the modeling industry. Although he moved to LA two years ago to further pursue his modeling career, Justin's first love is and always has been making music.

Truth be told, looking this good can sometimes be nice springboard towards opening doors to ones aspired 'dream career'...

Look for more of Justin in the upcoming weeks... provided of course he doesn't get voted off too fast. I've never heard the man sing, so it'll be interesting to see if there's a beautiful voice to complement the beautiful face .
